Additional two large FDI projects licensed in Ha Tinh
Chairman of Ha Tinh provincial People’s Committee Dang Quoc Khanh granted investment certificates to foreign investors in Ha Tinh with total investment of nearly US$70 million at the framework of the conference reviewing three decades of attracting FDI, held in Hanoi, on October 4.
Accordingly, the investment certificate was presented to Germany’s GA Power PTE.Ltd to carry out two solar power projects worth a total of US$46.6 million in Ha Tinh.
The projects are expected to be completed in 12 months and have a duration of 35 years from the issuance of the investment certificate.
The province leader also granted an investment certificate to Haiviva Ltd from the Republic of Korea with an investment of US$15 million.
Chairman Khanh noted that the province is reviewing the master plan on the provincial socio-economic development by 2030 with a vision to 2050, focusing on attracting investment in hi-tech and environmentally friendly projects.
The province also established a provincial public administrative centre and a centre in support of enterprises and trade promotion to facilitate enterprises.
Ha Tinh province now has 806 investment projects including 735 domestic projects worth a total of VND106.92 trillion (US$4.59 billion) and 71 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over US$11.99 billion.
