Quang Ninh: Adjusting general planning of Van Don Economic Zone till 2040.

On February 26, Quang Ninh held a conference to announce the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 266/QD-TTg of February 17, 2020 approving the adjustment of the general planning on construction of economic zones of Van Don to 2040. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van and key leaders of Van Don province attended the conference.

Under the authorization of the Government, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van awarded the Decision approving the adjustment of the general planning on construction of Van Don Economic Zone to 2040 for Quang Ninh province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang – Chairman of Quang Ninh People’s Committee affirmed: “adjusting the general planning to build Van Don Economic Zone until 2040 of the Prime Minister is very important in the construction and development strategy of Van Don as well as of Quang Ninh province and the nation with many important aspects.

At the conference, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van expressed, this adjustment project was the expectation of the Government, the wishes of the people of Van Don and Quang Ninh province and domestic and foreign investors. The Deputy Minister believed that this would be a favorable condition for Quang Ninh and Van Don district to continue promoting their potentials and advantages for development.
