Binh Dinh welcomes new year with new project of VND 2,000 billion of Hoa Sen group
“It is not only a significant event of Lotus group, it but also marks the development of provincial industries; with reputation, competence and experience of Hoa Sen Group, I believe the project will ensure quality, go on schedule and in time to meet the demand for products in the market”, said Mr Ho Quoc Dung, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) at the groundbreaking ceremony of Hoa Sen Steel Plant project in Nhon Hoi economic zone.

On the morning of 8th January 2016, in Nhon Hoi economic zone (EZ), Hoa Sen group officially kicked off construction of Hoa Sen Steel Factor. The ceremony was attended by provincial leaders, representatives of the provincial departments and sectors, and leaders of the Hoa Sen group.
This is an important impetus for the local industry, starting an investment flow in 2016,” – said Chairman Ho Quoc Dung of Binh Dinh PPC at the ceremony.
With capital of VND 2,000 billion and commitment of disbursement completion in 2017; this is the 3rd project of Hoa Sen Group in Binh Dinh province. Mr Le Phuoc Vu, President of Hoa Sen group asserted: “I was born and grew up in Binh Dinh; I am delighted to continue my contribution for my hometown construction. Being the head of Hoa Sen group, we are committed to the project implementation schedule with competitiveness ability and application of modern technology. Our group will meet demands of domestic and international customers with the principle of right price, good quality and standard, and we hope to make contribution to industrialization and modernization of the country “.
Also at the ceremony, Mr Ho Quoc Dung, PPC Chairman granted investment certificate to Mr Le Phuoc Vu, Chairman of Hoa Sen group and acknowledged the group’s contribution to the locality at Nhon Hoi EC.
In the period of 14 years since its foundation, from a small private firm, Hoa Sen has constantly grown, and developed and maintained its reputation as the leading company in the steel manufacturing business with approximately 40% market share of steel sheet and almost 20% market share of steel pipe. The group provides consumers with products that meet international standards at reasonable price and with good after-sales service. Currently, Hoa Sen owns a wide distribution network throughout the country with nearly 170 branches, exporting products to 55 countries and territories around the world.
